Winter story time in Morocco: Winter Story Time is for children ages 2 to 5 and their guardians at the Morocco Community Library at 10 a.m. on January 12. Roselawn hosts a winter bingo: Adults are invited to spend a pleasant afternoon in the Roselawn community hall while enjoying the bingo! The Roselawn Library is offering Winter Bingo at 2 p.m. on January 12. Winter bingo is for adults 18 and over. Roselawn Book Discussion: The Roselawn Library is once again hosting a book club from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. on January 13 and 27. Attendees will read and discuss “Midnight at the Blackbird Café” by Heather Webber. Customers who wish to participate should order this book from the library through Evergreen Indiana. The audio version is also available and downloadable versions are available on the library’s Overdrive service. We will have coffee available and attendants are encouraged to bring their own snacks. Shrinky Dinks are designs made on cut plastic sheets and baked to create cute miniatures that can go on key chains, necklaces or carry in pockets. Pebble Pets in Morocco: Miss Katy will help kids from Kindergarten to Grade 6 create their own pebble pets at 4 p.m. on January 19. We will also be collecting donations for the Newton County Animal Shelter. We are going to get messy, so we ask our attendants to dress appropriately. Note that we will also be using a very hot oven.
